This is the final round playoff game between Gata Kamsky and Alejandro Ramirez from the 2013 United States Chess Championship held at the Saint Louis Chess Club and Scholastic Center. The game was of the Armageddon format which meant that the player with the black pieces had drawing odds. The winner of this game earns the title of “2013 United States Chess Champion”, and walks away with $30,000 USD.
